How to check if something is really from Binance: Binance Verify

Short answer

Use Binance Verify on the official site. Enter a website, email address, phone number, Telegram account or social media account, and see whether it's an official Binance channel. A match only helps you check: it doesn't mean Binance has authorised anything that person asks you to do.

  • Binance won't message you privately to ask for money or crypto.
  • If it doesn't come up in Binance Verify, don't click its links and don't send money.

How to check

  1. Type binance.com/en/official-verification into your browser to open Binance Verify.
  2. Enter the website, email address, phone number, Telegram account or social media account you want to check.
  3. Check the result. If it doesn’t come up, don’t trust it, and don’t do what they ask.

What a match does and doesn’t mean

  • Binance Verify only helps you check. A match doesn’t mean Binance has authorised anything that person asks you to do, or that a coin is being listed.
  • Binance won’t message you privately to ask for money or crypto. If someone does, don’t send anything, whether they came up or not.

FAQ

It came up as official. Can I do what they ask?

Not necessarily. Binance Verify only helps you check. A match doesn't mean Binance has authorised anything, or that a coin is being listed. If they ask for money, codes or private keys, don't give them anything.

Someone called saying they're from Binance. Can I check the number?

Yes. Enter the number in Binance Verify. If it doesn't come up, hang up. Even if it does, never give out your password or codes, and never send money.

Someone posted an "official Binance" link in a group. How do I check it?

Enter the web address in Binance Verify. Better still, don't tap it at all: type binance.com into your browser yourself.
