How long does a Binance or OKX withdrawal take? Check the TxID
Short answer
Binance: the transaction ID (TxID) usually appears within 1 to 30 minutes; none after 6 hours means contact support with a screenshot of your withdrawal history. OKX: the request and pending stages usually take a few minutes. Then come block confirmations, which take no fixed time and slow down when the network is busy.
Binance
TxID in 1–30 minutes
None after 6 hours: contact support
OKX
Usually a few minutes
For the request and pending stages
Block confirmations
No fixed time
Depends on network load and fees
Completed but not received
Ask the receiver
Take the TxID to the receiving platform or wallet
Withdrawal not arrived? Check in this order
Check the status in your withdrawal history: on the Binance website: Overview → Orders → Transaction History → Withdraw; in the OKX app: Assets → Withdraw → pick the coin → ... at the top right → Withdrawal history
Still processing: wait for block confirmations. Binance's examples: about 10 to 60 minutes per BTC block, about 5 minutes for ETH, about 3 minutes for BNB and TRON
Completed: open the TxID in a block explorer; once it's confirmed, take the TxID to the receiving platform or wallet
Binance with no TxID after 6 hours: contact Binance support with a screenshot of your withdrawal history

FAQ
It says completed, so why isn't it in my wallet?
Completed means the coins have left the exchange and are on the blockchain. The receiver may still need more confirmations; both exchanges say to ask the receiving platform or wallet at this point, with your TxID.
Can I make it faster?
Both exchanges say confirmation time isn't fixed: OKX says it depends on fees and network load, and Binance says busy networks can cause noticeable delays.
What if I picked the wrong network or left out the tag?
Binance warns that if the receiving platform or wallet doesn't support the coin and network, the funds may be lost for good, so check with the receiver first.
My withdrawal failed. Was I charged?
OKX says a failed withdrawal doesn't deduct your funds or the fee; you can try again, and contact support if it still fails.
Someone says I must pay an "unlock fee" to get my withdrawal. Should I?
No. Paying first to get your money released is a common scam sign. Check arrival in the exchange's withdrawal history and a block explorer, and contact support only inside the exchange's app.
