Binance reactivation: open the link and log in; when the confirmation window appears, tap the confirm button. It takes effect right away
Binance re-binding: check the details on the re-binding page and confirm manually; the same page shows the current status. It links the day your trading reaches the requirement within 30 days, and not at all if it doesn't
OKX re-linking: log in on the website, enter the referral code and a reason, and submit. Once approved, you'll get a message under Chat at the top right of the app home screen

After reactivating, when does the fee discount start?
Once you're linked, the fees on your trades from then on get the discount. Binance reactivation takes effect when you confirm; OKX re-linking takes effect from the next hour. The exchange pays the discount into your own account; see where to see it on Binance and on OKX.
What if I don't reach $150,000 within 30 days on Binance?
The referral link isn't created. Whether and how you can apply again is shown on Binance's re-binding page. Don't trade more just to qualify; that only means paying more fees.
Can I cancel a Binance re-binding application myself?
No. To cancel, contact Binance support.
Does OKX re-linking change my trades or positions?
No. OKX says re-linking only changes the referral relationship; your own trades and positions aren't affected.
